It has been a while since I’ve posted anything other than a frost delay. We have been blessed with some amazing Fall weather, and the extended forecast cast has more in store us. Fortunately for us, we have not been in widespread frozen turf condition where the frost has lifted, but turf is frozen. Again, looking at the extended forecast we may be a couple weeks away from this condition which reduces our late Fall golf to short afternoons.
I wanted to give a shout-out to Lads for doing an amazing job of stripping the remaining sod on number one and making very good use of it. Chiach, Skywalker and Hollywood around the back of three green and along the end of eighteen fairway so that none of this turf would go to waste. Bentgrass sod it scheduled for delivery Wednesday morning and all hands will be on deck to finish this project.
