What a week it has been. First and foremost, thank you to everyone who participated in this years George Schichtel Event. A full field of 120 players, the largest ever, made for a super day. Congratulations to Chris Gannon and his guest Ken Meyer on firing a net 61 to take home the victory. Dave Mondry and Jim Stewart had the birdies flying early, but faltered late in the round and ended with a 9 under 62. Paul Hoffstetter and Paul Hoffstetter, Jr. made a 11th hour charge towards the top of the leaderboard, but also fell just short. A thank you from the Board of Directors to everyone who played for participating in Golf Genius mobile scoring. We can’t wait to continue this trend with all of our events.

We currently have sign ups for a few upcoming events as well. Dave and I still need a few for the Men’s President’s Cup, the Alberico Scratch is still open for sign ups, as well as the Clif Cunningham Member / Member. For the ladies, sign ups are open for the Ladies Guest Day on June 16th, as well as the Ladies Fleck Member / Member. Also, for those planning on attending the July 16th Ride Along History event with Dave and Roger, please sign up for that in the Pro Shop, just so we can get a handle on how many are attending.

Looking forward at this week, we have a few things to note. The ladies 4 Gal Scramble is this upcoming Saturday, June 4th, which will have the tee closed for a bit, which I will note in the outlook. Otherwise, it is a fairly normal weeks, with some regular league play.

**Please remember damaged areas from tree removal, including wood chipped areas, are Ground Under Repair until further notice. Please use the mirror behind the gold tee on #16 to check to see if the fairway is clear before hitting, and please yell FORE for any errant shots near other groups. Fix your ball mark and one other while on the greens, and please sand your divots on the tees and fairways. These small gestures are what make our golf course as good as it is. **
