Good morning all. Snow delay until further notice. I can’t believe we are finishing up an arctic blast with a winter advisory and possibly looking at temperatures in the mid-forties this afternoon.
I have been asked by the board to keep number one tee closed until Ange and Dave hit the first ceremonial ball to kick off the 100th season. Please look for that announcement soon. The lads have moved back inside after making the most of the nice days we’ve had this month. With those few nice days, they have managed to get 90 percent of the wood chips and winter cleanup completed. With opening day coming up, rain, and snow in the forecast, we will not be sending out electric carts. This is just a reminder as we tee off our 100th season at Springville Country Club. There is a bit of golf course maintenance we expect from you as members. There is nothing major, just a little maintenance to help out. Please fix your ball mark and one other. Please replace your divot or if no divot use divot mix. DO NOT USE DIVOT MIX IN THE ROUGH Only on tees, fairways, collars, and approaches. Also, please rake out your bunker shots as well. Many thanks, and I look forward to seeing everyone when winter finally loosens its grip on us.
