There is no substitute for mother nature . Our last measurable rain on the golf course was 6/26 and since then we’ve thrown 2.75 million gallons through the irrigation system along with hand watering. This rain will wash in and release the fertilizer applied to the rough two weeks ago (sorry Pete Jantzi) and jump start heat dormant rough. Nothing like good thunder bumper. During this heat wave the crew has remained busy and many of you expressed your appreciation through texts and emails and all have been passed along to our hard working staff. Many thanks to Joanne Broad who dropped off a bakers dozen of Eileen’s donuts. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
