Hello all! Dave and I would like to first say how wonderful it is to see as many people out at the club, using the golf course. These past two weekends were very busy, and that’s awesome to see. We both appreciate your support. I will continue to post these updates as often as is necessary, however with the current climate, they will be a little different than last year; at least until we begin to resemble some normalcy. But on to some important information, and happier thoughts!
We are excited to announce that the Founder’s Day Member / Member will continue as planned! We will be holding the event on Saturday and Sunday May 16th & 17th. The format has remained the same: Two Man Best Ball, 90% Handicap. The cost is $30 per person, and there will be no food element to the event in any form. Please contact Dave or Jeff directly, or call 592-2122, to sign up.
The new USGA World Handicap System is now in effect. This also means scores can now be posted as normal. Everyone’s GHIN number has remained the same, however your index will change upon every score you post. Therefore, there will not be a handicap index list in the golf shop, from this point forward. We will have everyone’s GHIN number listed, however. Any questions, or to find out your GHIN number, please see Dave or Jeff.
The Titleist Golf Ball order is quickly ending, so this is the last call for any orders. It is a buy 3 dozen, get 1 dozen free, with free personalization. We have the ability to ship the order directly to your door, so there is no need to come to the club if you do not need or want to. Please talk to Dave or Jeff to place your order.
Finally, a quick reminder that the golf course opens at 12:00pm on Mondays, and at 7:00am (pending a frost delay) on Tuesday through Sunday. Either Dave or Jeff will be on campus to assist in any way possible, while still adhering to State Guidelines and Mandates.
We appreciate all the people taking your garbage with you when you leave, as well as not congregating in the parking lot or on the golf course. These small precautions are helping make everyone safer. Hope to see you all soon!
