Greetings from Springville Country Club. A Happy Healthy New Year to all of our members from as far away as Montana to Kelly Greens in Florida. It has been quite a long time since my last posting so I thought I throw something together on this beautiful day in January. I am happy to report that after the 60 mph winds over the weekend we had no trees uprooted or any large branches downed. Myself, Nick and Dylan managed to get out of the shop these last two days. Nick and Dylan took back pack blowers and cleared all debris off greens so that I could apply a dormant application of fertilizer. As of this writing all playing surfaces are in great shape and no signs of any snow mold through out the golf course. Once the lads finished clearing greens they picked up where they left off in late fall clearing the brush and trees below 12 green. Strong work lads. Some of you took advantage of the 50 degree weather today to relieve the cabin fever and it was a great day to be on the golf course.
