The week in review. Another busy week. The crew added another two trees to the brush pile last week after two storms. Nick and I and second assistant spent the day Wednesday with Rainbird Irrigation specialist Alex Ludwig. After checking each of three wire paths to the golf course, we discovered 6 dead communication decoders and two blown surge protectors. All of which have been replaced. The two assistants also replaced a bad valve and riser at ten tee. I would have helped them myself but i had just gotten my nails done. All the drinking fountains were serviced this week and are up to full pressure except 14. 14 is still off due to a leak inside at the base. The lads did a little black top work with some millings on 8 cartpath. A full week and big thanks to all the crew for making it happen.
Enough is enough; cut the ruff 🤪
Compromise: make the fairways only 10 yards wide. This way I won’t be alone hitting from the rough!
Enjoy the updates! course is in great shape- only exception is very long grass alongside the fairways. lost two balls yesterday (Sunday) which I never thought I would lose. The drives appeared to land right along the fairway. I know – if I’d hit the middle of the fairway- my problems would disappear! Unfortunately that is not my game! keep up the good work! Dick Pohlman

Dick thank you. Our intent is to cut the rough twice in one week and that has been virtually impossible at the rate its growing. I agree it’s getting to the height of US Open rough and that’s not fun. I had all four machines out cutting yesterday before we left. We’ll do our best to bring under control.
Cut the rough lower please!
Looks like the dog makes a good supervisor. Love seeing on the course. Marilyn Davidson
