Well today was pretty much a wash but we still managed to get some things done before the rain drove us inside. Nick and I changed cups today on greens and pulled the temporary greens. With soil temperatures hovering around 37 degrees the root zone is completely void of frost, and although the plant is still dormant greens are okay to play on now. We managed to get a cut and roll on them. With greens open for play here’s what you can expect for the weekend. New cups and sticks have been placed on the greens. I ask that you fix your ball mark and one other. Tee markers have not been placed on the tees yet because we still have to roll them. Please tee it up on par 3’s. With the new fleet of carts arriving on Monday we have pulled the divot bottles and have them ready to go on the new carts next week. Please replace any divots. I have turned the water on to the washrooms on 4 and I ask that you do not use water from the fountains until we have purged those lines. There is still some cleanup that remains and we will finish that next week but this weekend come on out and enjoy your golf course and have fun.
