March 1 – Course Conditions

The weather is starting to warm up, I’m sure we’re all looking forward to getting back on the course. Here’s the current conditions, according to Mike Bugenhagen, Grounds Superintendent, as of March 1st:

All 18 holes are open. The greens are playable, but temporary tees are still in play. Mike asks everyone to use the temporary tees located in front of the tee boxes. He reminds us, the grass is still dormant. Any divots will not heal, negatively effecting tee box conditions when we fully open. We all know, even during the growing season, our tee boxes take a beating, especially the par 3’s. A little inconvenience now, will go a long way in keeping our tees in good shape all season.

The Pro-Shop and Clubhouse will remain closed. Carts are still not available. I’d like to remind everyone, guests are not welcome until the Pro-Shop opens.

I’ll stay in contact with Mike Bugenhagen and keep everyone in the loop regarding changes in course conditions.

Thanks, and see ya down there.
